About Me
Felicia graduated with both a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (International Business and Commercial Law) from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. After spending almost a decade in New Zealand, she left greener pastures and returned home in hope that she could use her legal skills to make a difference here. The vast majority of Felicia's experience has been in Civil and Commercial Dispute Resolution. She has, inter alia, assisted in representing clients in contractual disputes, employment matters as well as tortious claims. Felicia also practises Family Law, mostly dealing with issues of divorce, custody, care and control of children, maintenance and division of matrimonial assets. She believes that to resolve any dispute, it is important to choose your battles wisely and prefers to help save clients time and costs by practising in a less acrimonious manner as far as possible. Felicia is also experienced in a range of Estate Matters, including drafting of Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney, as well as applications for Grant of Probate and Letters of Administration. Lastly, Felicia's sense of justice has led her to practise Criminal Law as well and she has assisted in affording representation to accused persons who pleaded guilty or decided to claim trial. In recent months, Felicia has also assisted in an increasing number of civil and criminal cases involving migrant workers in Singapore on a Pro Bono basis. Her work on 2 of the migrant worker cases together with our Director, Cheow Hung, has been featured in an episode of a Channel News Asia documentary titled, "A Fighting Chance" which features the work of pro bono lawyers in Asia.
